Andrew graduated from the University of California, Berkeley in June of 1985 with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.

Andrew began his career in the civil engineering consulting industry and worked for several local firms. He joined dk Consulting in 1990 and became a principal in 1994. Upon acquiring full ownership of the firm in 2004 he expanded the Walnut Creek company and location.

Andrew has over 25 years of experience in the field of professional civil engineering and land development. As acting President and Principal-In-Charge, Andrew oversees operations and is responsible for client promotion, retention and business development. In addition, Andrew is responsible for the day-to-day business activities and overall project management and administration involving budgets, schedules and technical quality control. Experienced in successfully coordinating with cities, utility companies and other professional consultants, Andrew consistently achieves project budget and time goals.

Andrew has been responsible for the management of many projects in both private and public sectors through all stages of planning, design and construction. Andrew’s proven ability in engineering and project coordination make him a very effective Principal-In-Charge.

Andrew’s business philosophy is to provide a competitive edge through direct service to customer needs while maintaining the highest standard of care and response.

Dan Drummond is responsible for supervising all survey activities for both field and office personnel. Dan is knowledgeable in plane and geodetic survey procedures, equipment and materials used in surveying and mapping transportation facilities, computers and their applications, principles of communication, supervision, and safety procedures. Dan also resolves all boundary surveys, supervises and signs all final maps, ALTA surveys, condominium plans, and legal descriptions.  His years of experience as party chief combined with his office project skills and his education make him well qualified to manage and supervise any survey project.

Catherine Stout Ginn has been with dk Consulting for the past five years and is also a LEED accredited professional. She graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering from San Francisco State University in 2005. Catherine has an extensive background in preparing Erosion Control Plans and writing Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans and is also a Qualified SWPPP Developer (QSD). Catherine is a Senior Engineer whose responsibilities include the preparation of grading and improvement plans, providing coordination and project management services, and working closely with many of our clients, public agencies, and sub-consultants.

Stacey Gella joined dk Consulting five years ago and graduated from U.C. Davis with a Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering in 2005 and is also a Qualified SWPPP Developer (QSD). Stacey has a wide variety of engineering experience including hydrology and hydraulic studies, preparation of Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans, commercial and residential subdivision design, and C.3 compliance. Stacey is currently working on dk Consulting’s wind farm projects and is very involved in turbine road design and micrositing.
